Mark A. Martin, PhD, MBA, MHA, MA
Principal
Mark Martin is a dynamic leader focused on innovation, leadership, and community change. With over 25 years of combined experience in healthcare, financial services, and not-for-profit industries, Martin is known for his passion and exceptional client management skills. He earned a PhD in Leadership & Change from Antioch University where his seminal research focuses on the role of servant leadership characteristics in creating an environment of empathic care in primary care practices. He also earned an MBA from Pfeiffer University and a Masters of Arts in Leadership from Antioch University.
Martin specializes in developing strategies for innovations in hospital operations, public health, community medicine, and mergers and acquisitions. Martin began his career in healthcare providing strategic planning, finance, and operational improvement support for hospitals. He also led the development and implementation of a hospital Community Benefit program and has provided leadership for the Chaplaincy Departments at several healthcare facilities. Prior to working in healthcare, Martin served with the Wall Street bond rating agency Moody’s Investors Service.
Among his many activities, Martin has served on a variety of boards and actively supports faith-based non-profits. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughters.
